1 Day Kampala City Tour : After enjoying your breakfast at your hotel, our company representative/driver guide will pick you up to start your city tour around Kampala city. Kampala is the capital and largest city of Uganda commonly known as “the city of many hills”.
Kampala is the central administrative center and a big commercial city with a modern capital decorated with beautiful vegetation and it’s a door way to Uganda’s national parks. Due to its location, there are a lot of excellent hotels and restaurants serving international foods. It’s also on the shores of Lake Victoria attracting water activities including fishing and water sports.
Depart in the morning to drive to visit Namugongo martyrs shrine (where the young Christians were burnt by the King of Buganda for not worshipping him), visit the Kasubi tombs (where remains of the kings of Buganda were buried), visit Gadafi Mosque and be able to have an aerial view of Kampala city, visit Nommo Art gallery and other craft shops, connect to drive through the city to see the parliament and the independence monument and other places.
You will do all these activities depending on time availability and lunch en route in the city. Late evening, you will return to your Hotel and relax or you happen to be around on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday, you will go for a cultural experience at Ndere cultural center and enjoy performance about Uganda culture.
