Please note that there isn’t anything like low and high seasons any more. Permits cost $1500 in Rwanda, $600 in Uganda and $400 in Congo respectively all year round. Your biggest bargain should be on transportation and accommodation. These two services have alternations and only your budget will determine what you settle for.
The country you travel to also determines what kind of experience you are bound for. Rwanda is a luxury gorilla tracking destination and doesn’t favor budget gorilla safaris. Much as you can save on other facilities and services, the price of permits is still too high – an amount that can facilitate your entire short gorilla tour in Uganda or Congo.
Not all gorilla safari companies arrange budget trips. We partly specialize in organizing affordable safaris in Africa and you can confide in us for a memorable experience. Above are some of our budget gorilla safari packages. Kindly select an itinerary, send us an inquiry and we shall get back to you with a quotation in just a few hours.
Budget gorilla trekking Uganda
Uganda is one of the best destinations for budget gorilla trips. The permits alone are very affordable and the parks have so many lodges that can accommodate all kinds of travel settings. The only thing that freaks out most tourists is the 9 hour road journey from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey can be cut by using a flight (takes less than 2 hours) or by making your entourage through Rwanda (takes about 4 hours from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park).
Budget gorilla trekking Rwanda
If you insist to track from Rwanda on a budget, we shall help you reduce on several costs and make your experience as much affordable as possible. Otherwise, we do not encourage budget gorilla trek clients to trek from Rwanda. Uganda or Congo are much better.
Budget gorilla trekking Congo
The Congo gorilla trekking experience is amazing despite having the fewest bookings. The encounter is not different from the one in Uganda and Rwanda. Gorilla permits cost only $400 each – apparently the cheapest of all. If you have more time, you can add a hike to the Nyiragongo Volcano to your package.
