4 Days Uganda gorilla and golden trekking

4 Days Uganda gorilla and golden trekking: Trek mountain gorillas and golden monkeys in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park respectively with this 4 days gorillas and golden monkeys safari.

Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to Kisoro

Depending on your location in Kampala, our company representative will pick you up and transfer you to Kisoro district, you will leave early morning since it’s a 7-8 hours’ drive to Bwindi with en route breaks at the Equator and lunch in Mbarara town. Arrive late afternoon and check-in your lodge to prepare for the next day adventure.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking – Mgahinga national park

Breakfast will be served early and transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park for briefing. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the golden monkeys. The hike can take anything from 2-5 hours. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the fascinating monkeys. Once you reach them, you are allowed to spend 1 hour with them as you stand 6 meters away.

Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will drive for lunch then drive to connect to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Arrive and check-in your lodge for relaxation, unwind as we prepare for the next day, dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking-Rushaga

Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed, drive to the park head offices for briefing is at 7am of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas. The hike can take anything from 2-8 hours through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas depending on the movement of the creatures. Once you reach the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them.

Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will walk back to the starting point where you will meet your driver and drive back to your lodge, spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge or go for an optional community tour. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 4: Return to Kampala / Entebbe and departure

Depart the lodge and head back to Kampala/Entebbe, depending on your flight departure time, the driver will drop you off at the airport to find your waiting flight back home.
