Day 1: Early transfer for Murchison Falls National Park—Boat cruise on the Nile
Depending on your location in Kampala, you will be picked up as early as 6am and transferred to Murchison Falls National Park-Uganda’s largest national park. The park is a habitat for big 4 game including elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards. It’s a 5 hours drive to reach the park. Arrive at good time for lunch. Have your delicious lunch.
After lunch, go for a launch cruise on the Nile with exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater.
After viewing the falls at the bottom, you can have an optional hike to the top of falls through Bakers trail and also be able to stand at bakers stone -bringing you closer to the bottom of the falls, this hike is a bit tuff but it’s fascinating as you will enjoy to see the falls at different points and finally when you reach at the top of the falls, you will be amazed and eventually forget about the tuff hike. After spending a good time at the top of the falls, you will meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge.

Day 2: Game drive and Rhino trekking – Kampala
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive on the Northern Bank of the park. The activity takes about 2-4 hours and be able to view variety of wildlife including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks.
After the game drive, drive out of the park connecting back to Kampala. However you will have a stopover for about 2 to 3 hours at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking. Have en route lunch then proceed to Kampala where you will spend a night.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi
Meet with your driver in the morning for a transfer you to Bwindi forest in Kisoro district. En route the equator and lunch in Mbarara town. It’s a 7-8 hours’ drive so you will arrive at the late afternoon. Dinner will be served and spend an overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking
Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed, drive to the park head offices for briefing is at 7 am of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take anything from 2-8 hours through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas depending on the movement of the creatures. Once you reach the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them.
Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will walk back to the starting point where you will meet your driver and drive back to your lodge, spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe & Departure
Upon completing your early morning breakfast, the driver will pick you up and drive back to Entebbe. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be dropped off at the airport to catch your evening flight to your next destination.
