Detailed itinerary.

Day 1:  Transfer to Gulu and ziwa rhino trekking

On day 1 of the Uganda safari, you will  be picked up by a company driver, briefed on the expectations throughout your journey, and later start the journey to Gulu.

You will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking that takes 1-2 hours, then later proceed with lunch en route, and then on arrival in Gulu Town, check in to the you booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2:  Transfer to kidepo national park and evening game drive

After a morning breakfast, You will embark on your journey to Kidepo valley national park , on your way, you will have  a great views of the scenic landscape, hills, and karamojong manyattas , Upon arrival you will  check in to your booked lodge for lunch.

After lunch refresh and relax as you prepare for you  evening game drive, where you will get the opportunity to take beautiful pictures and have great views of the sunset and animals, including mammals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and cheetahs, and several species of birds, without forgetting the green nature of the park. After the game drive, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3:  Morning Game drive and cultural tours.

 You will wake up for breakfast and then have your morning  game drive within the park, admiring the beauty of this magnificent park. While on a game drive, you will encounter different animals, including mammals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, and several species of birds without forgetting the green nature of the park then  drive back to the lodge for lunch

After lunch, you will go for culture, where you will visit the Karamojong people that live near kidepo national park . During the cultural tour you will interact with local people in the community, which gives an opportunity to know their lifestyle and culture, learn about their way of living, visit their homesteads known as manyattas, enjoy traditional performances  in form of dances and songs, and listen to ancient stories, among others. Meet your driver and transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day in kidepo national park

After a morning breakfast, it’s another day of a thriving game drive in the savannah of  kidepo valley national park . Enjoy the stunning views of the morning sun shining over the hills of lomej , lotukei mountains before the ray strikes down to the endless valley of Kidepo and Narus valley , view different animals as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, and several species of birds without forgetting the green nature of the park  then later Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Note: you may request a night game drive as well on a special order to fully utilize your stay in Kidepo valley national park because there is a lot to see that happens in the night as the sun goes down and this is none other than the hunters as they search for the next meal.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will enjoy an early breakfast and start on the long drive to Murchison Falls National Park. This is the largest park in Uganda, covering almost 4000 km², and is one of the most spectacular parks in all of Africa. There are the incredible falls from which the park takes its name, rugged savannah, dense woodland and spectacular wildlife. You will have lunch en route. This is a full-day drive entering through one of the gates. On reaching the park you will Proceed to Murchison falls with the great views of the waterfalls (wonderful falls) and later connect to your booked lodge, relax, have dinner and overnight stay

Day 6: Morning game drive and boat cruise in the afternoon

Have an early morning breakfast and go for a game drive, where you will spot different animals like elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, lion, leopard and jackals. If luck is really on our side, we may encounter one of Murchison’s few cheetahs later returns to the lodge for lunch

 You will take a boat ride to the foot of the 43-meter-high falls in the afternoon. This is also a good opportunity to spot a few of Murchison’s 460 bird species, including the shoebill stork and goliath heron. You will also see one of Africa’s densest hippo and crocodile populations. Then  Dinner and overnight at the above.

Day 7: Transfer to Kibale National Park

You will have breakfast and then drive to Kibale. En route, you will visit the amabere ganyinamwiru stalagmites and waterfall site in Fort Portal and the crater lakes. Have lunch and proceed to Kibale national park arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge

Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking—Kibale forest

Take an early morning breakfast, go for briefing and start chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best Uganda safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795 km² National Park contains one of the most beautiful and varied tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This place is home to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees.

After trekking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland where you will experience a lot of bird life and unspoiled nature! Later transfer back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight at above lodge

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy Morning breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park  which is the second largest park in Uganda. on the way you will have breathtaking views of the landscape, scenery and Upon arrival in the park you will check into you lodge have lunch, and later go for evening game drive

You will encounter African elephants, Uganda kobs ,  herds of buffaloes, eland, bushbuck topis, and warthogs, among others. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

 Day  10 :  Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.

Enjoy the Morning breakfast and go for a morning game drive in kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be able to spot different animals  like Elephants , Buffaloes , warthogs, Uganda kobs, and waterbucks that will be grazing in open savannah plains , Predators like Lions, hyenas, and leopards that will be looking for a morning hunt  , View bird species among  others then return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George, where you will view large herds of hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and warthogs drinking water along the shores. View birds like hornbills, fish eagles, and kingfishers, among others. After returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11 :Lion experience and transfer to Bwindi National Park (4 Hours)

Have a morning breakfast, then go for the lion experience in the Ishasha sector, seeing more lions and elusive leopards. Then say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth and head down to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park where you will see the stunning landscapes and scenery while on your way , on  arriving Check in, unwind, dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing and gorilla trekking in the forest! Your child can spend that time at the hotel or in the company of a guide as they visit around. Gorilla Trekking can take an hour or four, depending on the movement of the gorillas.

The time remaining after visiting the gorillas can either be spent relaxing and remembering the trek or hiking in the foothills and visiting local communities. Dinner and overnight  as above

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Lake Mburo National Park, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Rest for the evening and enjoy dinner.

You will then embark on the night game drive that promises sights of the hyena and leopard. Stay overnight at the booked lodge

Day 14: Walking Safari & Transfer to Entebbe. (6 hours)

Have breakfast and go for a guided walking safari where you will see animals at close range with a ranger guide. Later exit the park and transfer back to Entebbe with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight stay at booked lodge in Kampala /Entebbe

 Day 15: Botanical Gardens and Departure.

Enjoy breakfast and go for a guided tour of the Botanical Gardens with lots of birds, among other wildlife. Later, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
