Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park
Your guide will meet you at the airport and welcome you for your 3 days Manyara safari. You will also have a short briefing about your safari. After briefing, you will proceed to Lake Manyara national park.
During your 3 days Manyara safari, you will also be driven to Mto wa Mbu town on your way to Lake Manyara national park for an experience with the local community. As you tour Mto wa mbu town, you will also enjoy seeing the local art and craft work and to interact with the Maasai people. After this experience, you will proceed to Lake Manyara national park where you will be driven to your lodge and you will check in at your lodge and have your lunch.
After your lunch on the 1st day of your safari, you will go for an evening game drive to explore the different attractions in the national park and also to look out for wildlife species such as tree climbing lions, leopards, buffalos, baboons, impalas, antelopes, and gazelles among others as well as different bird species. You will return to your lodge after your game drive as you prepare for dinner and a night at your lodge.
Day 2; morning game drive and night game drive
On the 2nd day of your 3 days Manyara safari, breakfast will be served early in the morning at your lodge before you engage in a morning game drive. As you explore Lake Manyara national park, you will look out for various wildlife species which can be easily spotted in the savannah plains as you watch the beautiful sunrise. You will also enjoy seeing attractions like Lake Manyara which is a major attraction in the national park. Your lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game drive.
You will also engage in a night game drive experience in Lake Manyara national park and enjoy looking out for nocturnal wildlife species like lions, genets, leopards among others as you explore the diverse habitats in the national park. You will return to your lodge for the night at your lodge as the day before.
Day 3; drive to Arusha
You will have your breakfast at your lodge in Lake Manyara national park and then check out of the lodge. You will have also have an en route game drive in the national park on your way back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha or at the airport which will be the end of your 3 days Manyara safari.
