Day 1 of the 3 days Tanzania safari to Serengeti national park
Pick up and transfer to Serengeti national park, depending on your location on day 1 of the 3 days Tanzania safari to Serengeti national park, your driver guide will pick you up from arusha airport or the hotel in Arusha, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Serengeti national park which is located in the northern part of Tanzania. The journey takes about 6 to 7 hours drive and on the way you will have en-route lunch and continue the journey passing via Ngorongoro conservation area where you will have scenic views of the stunning landscape, animals among others. Upon arrival in the park you will go for an interesting game drive in the open endless plains where you will view a range of animals like buffaloes, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, zebras, gazelle, lions, leopards among others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Serengeti national park
Full day game drive, after an early breakfast on day 2 of the 3 days Tanzania safari to Serengeti national park you will carry your lunch box and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive in the endless savannah plains of Serengeti national park. During the game drive you will have a chance of viewing animals when they are most active, you will therefore be able to view animals when they are most active such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, gazelle, warthogs, lesser kudu, wildebeest, hartebeest, elands, impalas, topi, impalas, elands grazing in the open savannah plains with due, primates like monkeys, baboons, view predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, spotted hyenas, wild dogs looking for a morning hunt, view different bird species like grey breasted spurfowl, kori bustard, ashy starling secretary birds, yellow necked francolin, rufous tailed weaver, Fischer’s lovebird, grey crested helmet shrike among others. After the morning game drive you will enjoy your picnic lunch or drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive, after lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive where you will be able to view some of the animals that you might have missed in the morning. You will drive to the water bodies where you will have views of large concentrations of animals drinking water, witness the great wildebeest migration if you are lucky where about one million wildebeest and thousands of gazelle, zebras cross the Grumeti river with infested crocodiles which feast on them to the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grass. After the full day game drive in Serengeti national park you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure to Arusha
Transfer back to Arusha, after a relaxed breakfast on day 3 of the 3 days Tanzania safari to Serengeti national park you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to transfer back to Arusha. You will have stunning views on the way and upon arrival you will have lunch where after your guide will drop you off at Arusha airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
