4 Days Chimpanzees & Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and afternoon Boat cruise

Depending on your location in Kampala, you will be met by our company representative/guide as early as 6am for your transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, it’s a 6 hours drive with en routes at the equator where you will be able to take photographs.

Arrival in the park at good time for lunch, have your delicious lunch at your lodge. Later at 2 pm connect for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will see hippos, crocodiles and lots of birds. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National park

4 Days Chimpanzees & Wildlife Safari

You will wake up early, have breakfast and embank for an early morning game drive in the kisenyi region. While on the game drive, expect to see the big four game-Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes and on a lucky day Leopards, other animals to see include antelopes, giraffes and warthogs. You will then return to the lodge for lunch.

Then later transfer Kibale national park, it’s a 3 hours drive to Fort portal. Kibale Forest National Park is the best safari destinations in Africa with 13 species of primate where chimpanzees are the most visited. Arrive at the lodge late afternoon and unwind, have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk

4 Days Chimpanzees & Wildlife Safari

Have early breakfast and transfer to the park head office for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees and later enter the forest with the guidance of a park ranger along with your tracking gears, packed water and snacks. This tracking takes about 2-5 hours in search of the chimpanzees. On finding the primates, you will spend 1 hour with the creatures while studying their behavior and taking pictures. After tracking, return to the lodge for lunch and refresh.

Later afternoon, connect for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland, where you will get to enjoy walking through a wetland with a variety of bird species. Later in the evening return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at as above

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala and departure

Have early morning breakfast and embark on a 5 hours drive to Kampala city where you will also connect to Entebbe international airport to find your evening flight back home.
