4 Days Flying Gorilla Safari Uganda: Want to fly to Bwindi Forest National Park and trek gorillas? This 4 days flying gorilla safari features a flying option to Kihihi Airstrip near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will later transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at 2 Friends Hotel/Boma Hotel/Best Western Garden Hotel
Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up and have breakfast and be transferred to the airport where an Aerolink member of staff will assist you through check-in for your scheduled domestic flight to kihihi airstrip in Bwindi national park. Aerolink operates two scheduled daily flights to Bwindi at 07:45am and 12:45pm so you can plan your flights accordingly.
As you land at Kihihi, your driver / guide will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge where you will unwind. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma lodge/Sanctuary Gorilla Safari camp.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Have breakfast and transfer to the park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by the ranger guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range.
You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening. Have dinner overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe & Departure
Have breakfast at leisure depending on your schedule and later meet with the guide/driver who will for transfer you to Kihihi airstrip for a 2 hours flight back to Entebbe for your connecting flight.
End of 4 days gorilla safari.
