Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi – Kisoro
You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala or at the airport and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park located in the western part of Uganda with approximately 540km from Kampala by road. You will have a stopover at the equator for photography and the experiment and another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking Uganda – Rushaga Sector
Enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing by the ranger guides and later head into the forest for your trek. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. These primates roam the park freely and there is no way of telling where they will be for a particular day.
On finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour to view and take photos of these gentle primates, enjoy your lunch packs and meet your driver and transfer back to your lodge. The time after trekking can be spent on a village tour or lazing off at the hotel as you savoir the memories of your gorilla trek in Bwindi and prepare for the next day. Dinner and overnight as above
Day 3: Golden monkeys’ tracking – Mgahinga gorilla national park
After having early morning breakfast, drive to transfer to Mgahinga National Park-one of the parks on the Virunga Mountains, it’s an hour drive from kisoro. Upon arriving at the park, you will be briefed about the activity then set off to search for the primates. This activity takes about 2-5 hours depending on their movement. On finding the golden monkeys, you will be allowed to spend an hour with them while taking pictures and videos. Return to the starting point and meet your driver at the lodge.
Return for dinner and overnight at Lake Mutanda Resort/Travelers Rest Hotel
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale national park
After enjoying your breakfast at the lodge in Kisoro, then embark on a drive to Kibale forest in Kabarole district- a 5-6 hours journey from Kisoro district. The drive comes with an en route lunch and stop over at the Equator near Queen Elizabeth national park. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa with 13 species of primate where chimpanzees are the most visited. Proceed through Kasese with great views of the Rwenzori ranges. Arrive and connect to your lodge where you will have dinner and spend a night.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk
Have breakfast early and later transfer to the park head office for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees and later enter the forest with the guidance of a park ranger along with your tracking gears, packed water and snacks. This tracking takes about 2-5 hours in search of the chimpanzees. On finding the primates, you will spend 1 hour viewing then while studying their behavior and taking pictures. After tracking, return to the lodge for lunch and refresh.
In the afternoon after lunch, connect for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland, where you will get to enjoy walking through a wetland with a variety of bird species. Later in the evening return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at as above
Day 6: transfer to Kampala/Entebbe & Departure
Have early morning breakfast and embark on a 5 hours drive back to Kampala/Entebbe where you will also connect to Entebbe international airport to find your evening flight back home. End of Safari
