6 day Uganda safaris grants you an experience to Uganda’s top destination and varying out remarkable activities, ie wildlife encounter, gorilla trekking bwindi national park, chimpanzee trekking and ending with a visit the lake Bunyonyi one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Depending on your location in Kampala, you will be picked-up by our company representative/guide to set off to Queen Elizabeth national park. The park is located in the western part of the country. Via Masaka road, you will have a stopover at the equator where you will be able to take photographs and visit the craft shop connect to Mbarara town lunch en route. On arrival to the park in Kasese district, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
You will wake up early, have breakfast and embank for an early morning game drive in the kasenyi region. While on the game drive, expect to see the big four game including antelopes, giraffes, warthogs and white Colobus monkeys just to mention a few. You will then return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, Elephants and buffalos, hippos and crocodiles at the lake shores. Return and relax at lodge, meals on full board as above
Day 3: Chimpanzee/primate tracking and transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast early in the morning, you will depart for Chimpanzee tracking in Queen Elizabeth national park with your tracking gears. During the tracking, you will slope down a gorge with sights of magical lush mature tropical forest, thriving below sea level supporting counts of chimpanzees. Hiking the gorge’s steep slopes in search of the chimps is challenging but eventually encountering them gives a life time memory as you will find them rolling on tree branches, making pant hooting calls, also spot the black and white Colobus monkeys and the olive baboons. The walk generally takes around 2‐5 hours.
After tracking, have lunch then embark your 4-5 hours drive to Bwindi national park. Arrive in the park late afternoon and connect to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner will be served and spend a night in your booked lodge

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking experience.
Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening. Have your meals and spend another night at lodge as above.
Day 5: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Boat/canoe trip to the islands.
Breakfast will be served and depart Bwindi for Lake Bunyonyi. The drive itself is enjoyable with scenic landscapes and misty distant views of the rolling hills. The drive is a 2 hours journey.
Arrive at the lake early afternoon and take a boat/canoe trip to visit some of the historical 29 islands on the lake like the kyahugye island where you will find some wildlife including the Zebras, waterbucks, impalas and kobs. Visit Akampeine island-a punishment island where the pregnant unmarried girls were dumped to die and finally the Bwama and Njuyeera Island-where missionary Dr.Leonard Sharp founded a leper colony. Return in the evening at the lodge to relax and chill.

Day 6: Transfer to Entebbe & Departure
After your delicious breakfast, you embark on your journey back to Entebbe which lasts for about 8-9 hours with en route lunch in Mbarara. Depending on your departure arrangements, the driver will drop you either at a lodge in Entebbe or at the Airport for your evening flight. End of 6 Days trip.
