6 days Uganda gorilla tracking and wildlife safari takes you to lake Mburo national park, Bwindi impenetrable national park and Queen Elizabeth national park.

This 6 days Uganda gorilla tracking and wildlife safari will start and end in kampala the capital city of Uganda. Activities include; Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park , and one to track gorilla has to be with gorilla permit which costs 700$ each person. Bwindi is the home of over 340 mountain gorillas with four(4) main groups/families to be trekked. This national park has got also many other species of primates including; the chimpanzee, monkeys among others.
The same tour will takes you to queen Elizabeth national park which was named after queen Elizabeth and its famous for its kazinga channel which connects lakes; George and Edward and its filled with many wildlife species including; Hippos, buffaloes, elephants crocodiles and many bird species. The other animals found in queen Elizabeth national park are tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector, kobs, antelopes .etc. This trip includes visiting lake Mburo national park , the smallest park in Uganda and it has got a big population of zebras, impalas, Kobs, antelopes and birds etc . While in the park i you will be able to enjoy game drive and boat cruise in this beautiful lake .

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Depart for Lake Mburo national park.
- Depart for lake mburo: On the first day , You will meet you guide or Company representative after a morning breakfast and transfer you to lake mburo national park located in the south western part of Uganda which takes 3-4 hours drive from kamapala . Along the way you will have several stopovers such as Mpambire drum makers point and the equator where you will have great time and take some photographs, you will arrive at the park early afternoon and have lunch at the lodge , and after prepare for game drive in the park where you will spot different wildlife species like buffaloes, zebras giraffes, antelopes and impalas. And if time allows you can also do boaut trip at lake mburo then after Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
- Transfer to Bwindi: On day 2 ,you will have early morning breakfast and you embark on your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park, drive you will enjoy the great volcanic landscape with rolling hills and covered vegetations. Have your lunch enroute and proceed to the park which harbors 340 mountain gorillas with four gorilla groups to be tracked. As you proceed with the journey you , you will enjoy many banana plantation and steep hills allover and you will arrive in the park , If time allows you might opt for guided nature walks with in the park or relax at the lodge as you prepare for gorilla trekking next morning have dinner and overnight stay, Your accommodation will depend on your gorilla trekking sector.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience
- Gorilla trekking: On day 3 of 6 days Uganda gorilla tracking and wildlife safari, You will wake up so early in the morning and take your breakfast and then proceed to the park headquarters for the briefing before heading to the forest for trekking. The trekking takes 2-8 hours depending on the location and movement of the gorillas. Trekkers are always advised to carry enough water, snacks, boots, raincoats since the weather is un predictable in most cases. On finding them, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them and take some photos, then ranger guides will continue guiding you on how to behave near gorillas and what to do. After gorilla trekking, return to meet your guide and transfer to you back to the lodge,or visit the batwa community and have a great time watching their dance through cultural performance after dinner and overnight stay

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national and afternoon boat cruise
- Transfer to Queen: On day 4 ,you will Wake up early and have breakfast and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park which will take you 5-6 hours’ drive via Ishasha sector – home of the tree climbing lions. Arrive at good time for lunch after checking-in your lodge. After lunch, connect for an afternoon game drive where you will be able to see some of the animals like buffaloes, elephant antelopes etc and after return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
- Game drive and afternoon boat cruise: Game drive in the park – boat cruise on Kazinga channel on day 5 in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region . You will have breakfast first and then after go for a game drive through any of the park’s demarcated game viewing tracks; Kasenyi, the north Kazinga plains and Ishasha region. You will see numerous wildlife; buffaloes, hippos, warthogs, antelopes, elephants and baboons. While driving through Ishasha, you will spot the famous tree-climbing lions in massive tree branches. Later in the day after lunch you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will have a chance of seeing water bucks, Hippos, crocodiles along the channel and later in the evening return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6; Drive back to Kampala
- Drive back to Kampala: On the last day , Have your morning breakfast and set off for Kampala, you will go through the park while viewing some wildlife ,proceed through Ishaka – mbarara highway with your en-route lunch in Mbarara town and proceed with your journey to kampala where by you will arrive late afternoon then drop off to your location stay.
