7 Days Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari is a wildlife viewing adventure starting in Kenya with pick up in Nairobi and then driving to Masai Mara national reserve where you will begin your wildlife viewing experiences during the safari.
You will also visit Serengeti national park which is a popular tourist destination located in the northern part of Tanzania. This national park is also known for the wildebeest migration which involves movement of about 2 million wildebeests annually. The great wildebeest migration also takes place in Masai Mara national reserve.
During your 7 days Kenya Safari and Tanzania safari, you will also visit the Ngorongoro crater where you will see wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, zebras among others. The Ngorongoro crater was formed as a result of volcanic activity and is also referred to as the world’s largest inactive caldera.
The 7 days Kenya and Tanzania safari will end in Nairobi after the 7 days of exploring the different wildlife viewing and interacting with various cultures across the borders of both Kenya and Tanzania.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: pick up and drive to Masai Mara national reserve
You will be met by your driver guide who will brief you through the 7 days Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife safari, after you have been briefed about your safari, you will begin your safari to the Masai Mara national reserve. You will have a stop in Narok town where you will go for craft shopping and seeing the local arts and crafts made in unique patterns and colors made by the local community.
After your experience in Narok town, you will proceed to your lodge for lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive. During your game drive in Masai Mara national reserve, you will search for wildlife species such as the big five like lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, Buffalos as well as other wildlife species like wildebeests, zebras, impalas, gazelles, giraffes, antelopes among others. After your evening game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Ol-Moran Camp.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara national reserve
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of your game drive in the open savannah plains of Masai Mara national reserve. You will go with your picnic lunch for your game drive. Masai Mara national reserve has a variety of wildlife species such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, elands, zebras, topis among others.
There are also various bird species in Masai Mara national reserve which you can see during a game viewing experience on your 7 days Kenya and Tanzania safari. You will have your lunch in the reserve as you watch the beautiful scenery around Masai Mara national reserve and watch wildlife species grazing in the savannah plains. After lunch, you will have another game drive in the reserve to look out for various wildlife species and enjoy seeing the different attractions and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Ol-Moran Camp.
Day 3: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
You will have a very early breakfast at your lodge on the 3rd day of your 7 days Kenya and Tanzania safari and checkout from the lodge as you prepare to drive out of Masai Mara national reserve to Isebania border where you will proceed to Tanzania.
Your guide will meet you and drive you to Serengeti national park where you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 4: Full day at the Serengeti National Park
On the 4th day of your 7 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of a full day adventure of wildlife viewing in Serengeti national park. You will explore different sections of the national park as you search for its various wildlife species in their natural habitat such as wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, giraffes, rhinos, hyenas, and hartebeest among others.
You will also have your packed lunch in Serengeti national park and later after lunch you will have another game drive to search for other wildlife species within the national park and enjoy seeing attractions like the kopjes such as Simba kopjes where you will spot lions in their prides. You will proceed to you lodge after your game drives for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 5: transfer to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation area which is another game viewing destination in Tanzania. You will have lunch before descending about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater to view wildlife. There are various wildlife species which can be seen at the Ngorongoro crater such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, leopard among others.
Another attraction in Ngorongoro crater which can be seen during a safari in the Ngorongoro crater is Lake Magadi which is a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner where you can spot flamingos, hippos and other bird species. You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge after your game drive at Hhando Coffee Lodge.
Day 6; drive to Amboseli national park
After breakfast at your lodge during your 7 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will drive to the border of Kenya and Tanzania as you prepare to enter into Kenya where you will be met by your guide and drive to Amboseli national park.
You will enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro during your safari in Amboseli national park and also see many elephants in the national park. You will continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA lodge Amboseli.
Day 7; drive to Nairobi
On the last day of your 7 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge in the national park. After checking out of your lodge, you will have a morning game drive where you will see a variety of wildlife species grazing and roaming in the national park like elephants, leopards, lions, antelopes, zebras among others as well as beautiful views of Mt Kilimanjaro in the backdrop.
After this experience, you will continue to Nairobi where your guide will drop you off at your preferred location which will mark the end of your safari.
