Ndali Lodge
Ndali Lodge is a luxury accommodation found in the western part of Uganda 23km south of Fort portal town Kibale national park overlooking Nyinambuga Crater lake and Rwenzori mountains to the west. It is approximately 45 minutes from Kibale National park. It covers the area of over 1000 acres of land cultivated in an African style. You can be at the lodge by road transport which takes 5-6 hours from Kampala City to the lodge in kibale national park. The lodge is the best place to stay in when tracking chimpanzees.
Kibale national park is found in western Uganda with a moist evergreen rain forest. It is among the best parks in Uganda . It covers the total area of 766km squared. The park has different and more accommodations to stay in; Budget, Midrange, and luxury accommodation which are friendly and affordable to visitors visiting the park. Kibale national park is the best safari destination in Africa for Chimpanzees ( highest population of chimpanzees) over 1500 chimpanzees and it harbors over 60 species of mammals with Interesting activity. There are two tribes around kibale national park; Batoro and bakiga where bakiga are the minor immigrant tribe from kigezi and Batoro are indigenous that occupies the largest portion of land. The Mugabe King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru is the current king of Tooro kingdom in which the Kabarole District is located. He happens to be the youngest King in Uganda and in Africa at large. There are different activities to do while in the park including Chimpanzee trekking and Chimpanzee habituation, Bigodi wetland sanctuary, Hiking, and nature walk in the forest, The Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves, visiting the crater lakes, Community tours, kibale forest, and many activities.
Ndali Lodge is comprised of 10 elegant rooms built in African style with woods, stone with grass-thatched roofs. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with privacy and tranquility whereby each room has en suite private facilities like flushing toilets, mosquito nets, and hot running showers. Rooms are well equipped with Satellite, TVs, extinguishers and other facilities Rooms have balconies and verandas to relax in while enjoying the fantastic view of ndali’s its own lake, Rwenzori mountain, and surrounding area.
