Ashnil Mara Camp
Ashnil mara camp is a luxury accommodation found in the middle of Masai mara national park in Kenya. The lodge is close to the Mara River and famous for viewing wildebeest migration. You can either be at the lodge by road or air transport. it takes approximately five to six hours (260km) from Nairobi to Masai mara national park and 45 minutes flight from Nairobi to Masai mara national park.
Masai mara park is located 270km north of Nairobi .it is the largest and most visited park in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October. There are several accommodations in Masai mara national park which are categorized into the budget, mid-range and luxury accommodation which are all friendly and convenient to guests visiting Masaai mara national park. Ashnil Mara Camp is comprised of 50 luxury tents which reflect the local building style with artisan touches, mosquito nets, hair driers, and private wooden balconies and sitting areas where you can relax while enjoying the stunning view of Masai mara park, mara river, and surrounding area. It has en suite bathrooms that offer flushing toilets, bath tabs/ shower with hot and cold running water. The Bandas are well decorated and furnished. Rooms are well equipped with Satellite-TVs, fire extinguishers, and other facilities. Rooms are equipped with comfortable beds. There are fireplaces at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors at the lodges. Rooms are in different categories; single, double and triple rooms and rooms cost 300$ per night and above (Note that the high season rate is different from the low season rate).
