Seronera wildlife lodge is a luxury accommodation(4 Star) found in Tanzania at the heart of Serengeti national park at the migratory route. You can either travel by road or air transport to be in Serengeti national park or at the lodge. It takes approximately 5 hours drive (330km) from Arusha to the seronera wildlife lodge and 145km from Ngorongoro national park. Its just 2km/ Five minutes drive from seronera airstrip to the lodge since it’s the nearby airstrip. People travel from different countries like Canada, USA, quata, Dubai to Arusha then from their to the park/lodge. Wildlife lodges and hotels are many with different branches in Tanzania.
Seronera wildlife lodge is comprised of 78 spacious rooms built in African styles with wood elements and grass-thatched roof, well designed to meet guests’ personal fondness. Rooms are well furnished and decorated with mosquito nets, air conditioning, satellites, TV’s, driers, and other facilities. Rooms contain en suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold running showers. Each room has sitting areas, terraces and Private balconies that give a panoramic view of the park and animals migrating to Masai mara and other surrounding areas. The Lodge has excellent and comfortable clean beddings with a king-sized bed. Rooms vary in different sizes and different categories; deluxe, standard, Executive in Singles, double, twin and family cottages. The rooms cost 300$ and above per night.
Seronera is the central part of Serengeti national park found in Tanzania. The park extends in the southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in simiyu region. The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching North to Kenya and bordering lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season, it offers the best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving to seek for pasture and water. It is the annual wildebeest migration. The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, wild dogs, warthogs, Impalas , Giraffes, antelopes, Hippos, crocodiles, etc and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos, ostriches, grey breasted spurfowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for along time.. its 60$ to enter the park. There are more activities to do while in the park and at the lodge which includes, game drive in the park which enables you to spot different animals migrating to masaai mara, nature walks in the park, Hot air balloon rides that gives good view of the Serengeti plains at 500$ per person, handcraft safaris, Camping, Flying safaris, cultural visits in the villages, Bird watching in the park, traditional dances, see wild beast migration, etc. The park has some other attractions like; Olduvai Gorge, Moru Kopjes, Grumeti river, seronero rivers.
