The area of ishasha s referred to as the wildest wilderness of Uganda, basically due to the great population of the tree-climbing lions. the lions in ishasha, are spotted hanging up into the tree branches of the big cactus trees and other candelabra tree species. It is said that the reason as to why these lions stay up in the tree is because of the heat on the ground plus, for the better spot of their prey.
