Day 1; Transfer to Lake Mburo national park – bait cruise
Depending on your location in Kampala/Entebbe, meet your safari guide and transfer to Lake Mburo national park. It’s a 4-5 hours’ drive with stopovers at the Equator. Proceed to the park to check-in, have lunch. After lunch, connect for a boat trip on Lake Mburo. Explore the animals and birds species found in the park. Return to your lodge with en-route evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Eagles Nest lodge for budget/Mpogo lodge for Mid-range/Mihingo lodge for luxury

Day 2: Game drive and transfer Bwindi forest
Wake up early, enjoy your breakfast then depart for a game drive for any missed animals including Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Uganda Kobs to mention a few. Thereafter embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park with en-route lunch. Arrive in the evening, check-in your lodge and relax for the day. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Community Rest camp for budget/Buhoma Haven lodge for mid-range/Mahogany Springs lodge for Luxury
Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience – Buhoma sector
Transfer to the park headquarters after early morning breakfast for a briefing about the mountain gorillas. Thereafter connect to the starting point with your packed lunch and water, porter if necessary along with your ranger guides, this will take 2-8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. On finding the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with the gorilla before you return back to the starting point, meet your safari guide and drive back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park – Boat cruise
After breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark on your 4-5 hours journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Reach Queen Elizabeth national park via Ishasha sector for chances of seeing the tree climbing lions. Have en-route lunch then proceed to your lodge in the Kasenyi area. It’s about 2 hours’ drive from Ishasha sector. Dinner and overnight stay at Pumba Safari Cottages for budget/Parkview Safari lodge for budget/Kyambura Gorge lodge for luxury
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale national park – Chimpanzee trekking
Wake up early, have breakfast and drive to Kibale forest national park. It’s a 3-4 hours’ drive. Have lunch at your lodge then connect for an afternoon chimpanzee trekking experience. Enter the forest and start trekking for the chimpanzees; this will take 2-5 hours’ drive depending on the location of the chimpanzees. After trekking, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
After early morning breakfast, meet your safari guide and continue on your safari to Murchison falls national park via Kagada with en-route lunch in Hoima district. It’s a 7-8 hours’ drive reaching the park late afternoon. Proceed to check-in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Heritage Safari lodge for budget/Pakuba Safari lodge for mid-range/Paraa Safari lodge for luxury
Day 7: Game drive and boat cruise and hike to the top of the falls
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive. The activity takes about 3-5 hours depending on animals available, and you will find animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, Oribis and waterbucks.
You will return to the lodge for lunch. Later at 2 pm, go for a launch cruise on the along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater. You will be allowed to view the bottom falls then connect to the top of the falls. This is hike to the top of the falls is a bit tuff so you need to be fit enough to hike. Meet your guide at the top and return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 8: Ziwa rhino tracking – Kampala
After breakfast, check-out of the lodge and connect to Ziwa rhino sanctuary for the rhino tracking experience. It’s about 3 hours’ drive from Murchison falls national park. Upon arrival, you will be briefed about the rhino tracking experience before you set off for the activity. Rhino trekking will take 2-4 hours. Thereafter, have lunch then embark on your journey back to Kampala. It’s a 4 hours’ drive reaching Kampala in the evening. You will either be dropped at a location you advise in Kampala/Entebbe or be dropped at Entebbe airport for your onward flight.
