Keekorok Lodge
Keekorok Lodge is a luxury accommodation situated in the southern Region of Maasai mara national park in Kenya. One can access at the lodge by road transport from Nairobi which takes approximately 5 hours to drive to the lodge and 1 hour to fly from Nairobi to Keekorok airstrip and then 10 minutes drive to lodge. The lodge stands on the 80 acres of land surrounded by savannah grassland and springs. The lodge is convenient and affordable to guests visiting the park with its stunning view of the park.
Keekorok contains 85 beautiful and comfortable en suite rooms that are built in traditional African modern style with modern comfort. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers/Bathtubs, mosquito nets, hair driers, and private wooden balconies, terraces and sitting areas, you relax while enjoying the stunning view of the garden, the park, and surrounding area. Rooms are well equipped with Satellite, TVs, extinguishers with comfortable clean beddings and ceiling fans. There are fireplaces at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors staying at the lodges. Rooms are in different categories like; standard, superior and luxury that vary in different sizes single, double, twin and triple/family rooms and room cost 500$ per night and above. Note that in High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season.

Maasai mara park is the largest and most visited park situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya region occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared. There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya and the Masai are the initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors.

Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
