Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge
Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge is a new luxury accommodation found in western Uganda, kabalore district just 6.2 miles (10km) from tourism city Fortpotal in Uganda. The lodge is found at the edge of the great African valley rift valley overlooking the spectacular view of Tooro-semiliki wildlife reserve and at times you can spot Lake Albert in the North. The lodge is close to Kibale national park and near Chimps tracking point. You can be at the lodge by road or air transport from the near by airstrip . It takes 5-6 hour drive from kampala to the lodge by road and an hour from Entebbe airstrip to the hotel. Aramaga rift valley lodge is friendly and convenient accommodations for guests visiting fortpotal tourism city ,Kibale national park and surrounding parks.
Aramaga rift valley lodge contains Ten (10) Beautiful and comfortable cottages built in modern styles with open plan lounge and dining area that are well decorated and furnished with modern comfort . All rooms have sitting areas, and private balconies that gives fantastic view of stunning valley and Rwenzori mountains. All rooms have private en– suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers/bathtubs , Mosquito nets , dries ,flat screen TV’s , wadropes, satellite and other facilities . Rooms have excellent and comfortable king sized clean beddings. There are fire places at the lodge that provides warmth to the visitors staying during night . Rooms vary in different categories; single, double, twin, triple all costing 300$ and above per person per night.

Fort portal is found in the western region of Uganda and is considered to be the largest tourism city in western region. It is the Cultural Center and seat of kabarole district and Toro kingdom. Fort Portal lies in the northern Foot hills of Rwenzori mountains. It takes four and a half hour drive (274km) from kampala to the fort portal town and 50 km from north of Kasese town. Fort portal is occupied by ‘Batooro’ speaking Rutoora language. Children in Tooro kingdom are given pet names which include; Abwooki, Atenyi , Amoti ,Akiki , Araali, Apuuli, Acaali ,Abaali, Adyeeri , Abwoli, Atwoki and Ocaali . the king is the only one with 2 pet name.,They are taught to respect elders and to be proud of the culture. Tooro Kingdom originated from Babito Dynasty and it is under Omukama oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguuru . Fort Portal is very interesting place for guests to visit. One can still stay at the lodge and visit kibale national park.
