Kikorongo safari lodge is a luxury accommodation found at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park. The lodge is situated in Fort portal – kasese, Mpondwe road just like 20 km south of Kasese. The lodge is set on 15 hectares of land scape and on the steep hill of kasese while overlooking lake George and lake Edward . One can be at the lodge by road or air transport to kasese airstrips. It takes approximately 5-6 hours (370km) drive from kampala to queen Elizabeth national park. The park is famous for its kazinga channel, wildlife , tree climbing lions in ishasha sector mention but a few.
Kikorongo safari lodge is comprised of 15 beautiful designed rooms built in African traditional art with grass thatched roof and modern comfort . Rooms are well furnished and decorated to meet guest’s personal fondness with mosquito nets , air conditioning , satellites, Flat screen TV’s , driers , and other facilities. Rooms contain en suite facilities like ; flushing toilets , hot and cold showers. Each room have sitting areas ,terraces and balconies that gives a panoramic view of the park lake Edward and George and other surrounding areas. The Lodge has excellent and comfortable beddings with king sized bed. There are fireplace at the lodge that provides warmth during cold periods to guests staying there . Rooms varies in different sizes and different categories; deluxe, standard , Executive in Singles, double ,twin and family cottages. Rooms cost 200$ and above per night per person.

Queen Elizabeth national park is the second largest and most visited national park found in western Uganda near historical town of Fort portal (Tourism city) in districts of Kasese, Kamwengye, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. The park occupies the total area of 987 km squared. The park extends from Lake George in the north-east to Lake Edward in the south-west and includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes. It’s the wide channel in Uganda with 32 kilometers long. There are different accommodations in Queen Elizabeth national park; budget ,mid range and luxury accommodations. . The park has the variety of flora and fauna over 100 mammals and 612 species of bird which attract more tourists.
