Sabinyo Silverback Lodge
Sabinyo Silverback Lodge is a luxury accommodation (5-star) found in Ruhengeri, in the northwest edge of Rwanda on the foothills of mount sabinyo (virunga volcanoes) close to the headquarters of volcanoes national park at the starting point for gorilla trekking. The lodge is found in the musanze district adjacent to volcanoes national park. one can be at the lodge by road transport from Kigali international airport which takes approximately 2-3 hours to drive to the park and it takes 40 minutes to fly from Kigali to the lodge . The lodge is under Governor”s camp that owns best and different lodges in east Africa ; Uganda ,Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania etc.
Sabinyo silverback lodge is comprised of six(6) luxurious and comfortable rooms where 2 are VIP suites and family rooms that reflects traditional building style with modern comfort. Rooms are well furnished and decorated with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets , hot and cold showers/ bathtubs , mosquito nets , driers , flat screen TV’S, satellites , with private balconies , sitting areas, verandas, you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of virunga volcanoes and surrounding areas . Rooms have excellent facilities with clean and washed beddings , There are fire places at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors in the nights and coldness. Rooms vary in different sizes and categories ; singles , doubles ,twin , triple /family rooms . Rooms cost 500$ per person per night and above ,and rate always go high when its peak seasons.

Volcanoes national park is the largest and most visited national park found in the North western part of Rwanda country .The park occupies the total area of 505 square miles of rainforest and surrounded by five of volcanoes in virunga mountains namely; Karisimbi , Bisoke , Muhabura , Gahinga and Sabinyo and there are two active volcanoes that covers 25miles apart namely; Mauna loa and Kilavea. Apart from volcanoes national park , Rwanda has different parks include; Nyungwe and Akagera national park with different attractions. Though Rwanda is a small land locked, tourism is the fast and leading activity.
