Tawi  Lodge is a mid-range accommodation (4 stars)found on the foothills of   Mount Kilimanjaro( the world’s largest standing mountain), close to the eastern entrance (Kimani gate) in Amboseli national park. The park is approximately 250 km from Nairobi to the park just four-hour drive from Nairobi and close to the Tanzania border. You can either be at the lodge by road transport or air transport which takes just 30 minutes to fly from Nairobi to   Amboseli airstrip where many flights land.  Amboseli national park is the world’s best place to watch elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge is convenient and affordable for guests staying in the park since it gives a stunning view of distant mountains, wildlife especially elephants visiting the lodge and other surrounding areas.

 Tawi lodge consists of  13 luxury and beautiful cottages, well decorated and furnished with privacy and tranquility reflecting African traditional building style with grass-thatched roofs and modern comfort.    Each room has its own  private  en -suite facilities like flushing toilets,  Mosquito nets, air conditioning, hot and cold running showers, satelites, driers,  flat screen TVs  etc .  Rooms have verandas , sitting areas  and private wooden  balconies with a cozy atmosphere , you relax while overlooking the beautiful  view of  mount Kilimanjaro, wildlife  and  the park  . The lodge have Comfortable and excellent  rooms  with  clean and  washed  beddings  . There are fireplaces at the lodge that provides warmth to guests during cold days .  Rooms  are in different categories; single ,double ,twins and triple rooms.  Rooms cost 300$ and above per night at times rate goes slightly high especially in peak season.

Amboseli National Park is situated in southern Kenya in loitoktok district in Rift valley province of Kenya and it lies on 240 km from Nairobi and northwest of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park covers the total area of 392 km squared.
