Ngorongoro Front Safari Lodge
Ngorongoro Front Safari Lodge is a mid-range accommodation (3 star) found in Karutu , just 1.3 km from sumawe complex in Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania stretching 15,000 square kilometers of Serengeti national park. The lodge is situated close to forested areas where guided nature walks starts. One can be at the lodge by road transport from Arusha international airport since it’s the gateway destination to different parks while from international countries like Canada, USA, dubai , quata etc . it takes approximately 2-3 hours drive on tarmac road from Arusha to the lodge and 30 minutes to fly to the lodge . Both lake manyara and tarangire makes the best spotting point to break up the journey . The lodge is convenient and friendly to guests visiting the park with its great views of Ngorongoro crater wild beasts and surrounding areas.
Ngorongoro front safari lodge consist of 7 spacious and comfortable rooms that are built in traditional African style with wood , local stones and modern comfort. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers , mosquito nets, comfortable tropical wooden beds with clean beddings, flat screen TVs, private wooden balconies, verandas and sitting areas ,you relax while enjoying the stunning view of Ngorongoro crater and surrounding area . There are cracking campfires and minibars at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors in the nights. Rooms are in different categories and sizes ; single ,double ,twin and triple/family rooms and rooms cost 200$ per night and above . Note that in High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season.

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to the Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering the total area of 8,292km and its 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. There are different attractions in the park which include; wild beast migration from Serengeti , Ngorongoro crater, Salei Plains and Ol karien Gorge, Variety flora and Fauna, stunning scenery and many more attractions. The park has different categories of accommodation like; Budget , Mid range and luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to guests visiting the area. The park contain short grasses with more high lands and other beautiful volcanoes. The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 number of lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles . The park has different animal including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos ,zebras , implalas , antelopes and different bird species . June –july and late January and February are the best month to travel in Tanzania for a safari especially Ngorongoro side.
