2 Days Ngorongoro Crater Safari is a breathtaking short adventure which will take you to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will enjoy great views of the big five mammals (elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, lion, leopards), other animals like wildebeest, gazelle, zebras, hyenas, waterbucks, bohor reedbucks, cheetahs, elands, warthogs, bushbucks, hartebeests, bird species like kori bustard, grey crowned cranes, ostriches, flamingos among others. During the safari you will also have views of Ngorongoro crater which is the world’s largest, intact and unbroken volcanic caldera that is 2,000 feet deep and 260 square kilometers wide.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: pick up and transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area, depending on your location on the first day of the 2 days Tanzania safari to Ngorongoro crater, our driver guide will pick you up from either Arusha airport or hotel, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Ngorongoro conservation area. The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours drive and offers scenic views of the countryside, landscape, beautiful scenery among others. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will go for an exciting game drive where you will have a chance to see animals like buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, zebras, lions, leopards among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Arusha
Morning game drive, after an early breakfast on the last day of the 2 days Tanzania safari to Ngorongoro crater your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you will get an opportunity to view animals when they are most active. During the game drive you will be able to explore the Ngorongoro crater, descend down the crater through lush forests and once you reach down into the crater floor you will have stunning views of grazers like buffaloes, elephants, zebras, gazelle, wildebeest, hartebeest, oribi, rhinos, waterbucks, bushbucks looking for fresh grass with due, predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs looking for a hunt, view bird species like flamingos among others. After the morning game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Departure to Arusha, after lunch you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Arusha. You will have great views on the way and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Arusha airport for your departure flight or drop off at the hotel depending on your schedule.
