Babylon Lodge is considered to be both budget and mid-range beautiful accommodation ( 3 star) on the northern part of Arusha along the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro ( Africa’s highest mountain ) in Tanzania country. The lodge is 5 km away from marangu route of MT. Kilimanjaro national park and 97 km from Kilimanjaro international airport . The hotel is situated in the lush garden and in perfect place for one to stay while from or before climbing MT. Kilimanjaro. One can be at the lodge by road from Arusha which takes approximately 2-3 hour while flying from arusha it takes about 45minutes flight to the close Kilimanjaro international airport. Arusha is the gateway destination to different parks in Tanzania. The lodge is convenient and business friendly to guests with its breathtaking views of MT . Babylon lodge consist of 21 comfortable and spacious simple rooms that reflects the traditional African building style with local woods and modern comfort . Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers/Bathtubs , mosquito nets , hair driers and private balconies and sitting areas ,you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of mount Kilimanjaro, gardens around the lodge and surrounding area . Rooms are well equipped with Satellite, flat screen TVs, extinguishers and other facilities with comfortable clean beddings and wooden ceiling fans. There are bonfires at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors staying at the lodges. Rooms are in different categories; single, double and triple rooms and rooms cost 150$ per night and above and in High season the rate is slightly high than in Low season.

Mount Kilimanjaro is considered to be the tallest mount in Africa and Mosh i is the municipality and capital city of Kilimanjaro region in the north eastern part of Tanzania. It has the good view of moshi town and Mount Kilimanjaro. The summit of Kilimanjaro is around 5,895 metres above sea level, which makes it the largest in Africa but way behind the Mount Everest which has a peak of around 8,848 metres.
