Twin Lakes safari lodge is referred to as a mid- range accommodation situated in  Kichwamba  Rubirizi district  in the beautiful surroundings of Bunyaruguru Crater Field at edge of the escarpment outside Queen Elizabeth national park in western Uganda.  The lodge is convenient for safari adventure and relaxation since it’s in the perfect base for tourists and travellers who want to explore and discover the park with its stunning views, plenty of rare animals and surrounding areas. One can be at the camp by road taking approximately 5-6 hours (370km) drive from  Kampala city to queen Elizabeth national park then an hour flight from Entebbe international airport to close Kasese airstrip and few minutes to be transferred to the lodge.

Twin lakes safari lodge is comprised of  9 spacious and comfortable cottages including a family cottage   that accommodates maximum of 22 guests  overlooking the beautiful views of the park  built in African traditional style with grass thatched roof and local woods  with high level of comfort .  Each cottage is   well  furnished  and elevated to meet guest’s personal fondness with  mosquito nets ,  bathroom with  hot and cold showers , flushing toilets free toiletries , chairs and wooden tables ,free bottled water, slippers in the rooms and many more  . Each cottage has large sitting areas and large veranda that give a panoramic view of the park, Rwenzori Mountain ranges and surrounding areas.  The cottages have excellent and comfortable beddings with king sized bed. There are campfire pit where fire glows, guests relax as they share stories/ experiences about the safari, it also provides warmth during cold periods. The lodge offers Singles beds for individuals and  double beds/ twins and family rooms as mentioned above with different costs ranging from  200$ and above per night per person, during peak season it goes slightly high than in low season .

A dining areas overlooking the park serving different mouth -watering meal to meet visitors choice both local and international cuisine (ala carte menu ). They offer breakfasts, Picnic lunch and dinner served by well trained and organized staff. They offer bush breakfast while enjoying the morning sunrises and bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky.

A well-stocked bar with both hard and soft drinks that includes ;beers, wines ,sodas etc,  you sip  any drink of you choice while enjoying the stunning view of queen Elizabeth national park  , forest canopy  and surrounding areas.

A blue water swimming pool that cools off the hot afternoon, you relax in water especially in the evening as you sip the sundowner that winds up you evening overlooking the park and surrounding areas.

Queen Elizabeth national park is the second largest and most visited national park found in western Uganda  near historical town of Fort portal (Tourism city) in districts of Kasese,  Kamwengye,  Rubirizi  and Rukungiri.  The park occupies the total  area of 987 km squared .The park extends from Lake George  in the north-east to Lake Edward in the south-westand includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes. It’s the wide channel in Uganda with 32 kilometers long. There are different accommodations in Queen Elizabeth national park;  budget ,mid range and  luxury accommodations. . The park has the variety of flora and fauna over 100 mammals and 612 species of bird which attract more tourists.
