Rwenzori Mountains National Park is also found within the western region of Uganda and it covers a total surface area of about 996 square kilometers. Rwenzori Mountains National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site that is famously known for its dramatic landscapes including the snow-capped peaks and the stunning glacial valleys.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

located in the southwestern region of Uganda in Kanungu district covering a total surface area of about 331 square kilometers and it stands at an elevated area which ranges between from 1,160 meters to 2,607 meters is Bwindi impenetrable national park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas due to the fact it hosts around 800 endangered mountain gorilla species and it’s also has other numerous attractions for sightseers to marvel at.

Kibale National Park.

Kibale National Park is located in the western region of Uganda covering a total surface area of 766 square kilometers (296 miles) situated at a distance of about 26 kilometers from the Southeast of Fort Portal City famously known as a perfect destination for chimpanzee trekking and bird watching safaris.

Lake Mburo National Park.
