Acacia Farm Lodge
Acacia Farm Lodge is a luxury accommodation (4 star) found in karutu in the spectacular Great rift’s escarpment areas outside the Ngorongoro conservation area. Its just 15 minutes drive from the lodge to ngorongoro crater and 30 minutes drive to lake manyara national park . One can be at the lodge by road transport from arusha international airport since it’s the gateway destination to different parks while from international countries like Canada, USA, dubai , quata etc . it takes approximately 3-4 hours drive on tarmac road from Arusha to the lodge through mayukuni and karatu and 45 minutes to fly to the close lake mayara airstrip . The lodge is in the perfect base to visit and explore the natural beauty of all the tanzania parks of lake manyara , tarangire ngorongoro crater and Serengeti . The lodge is convenient and friendly to guests visiting the park with its great breathtaking views of the garden , great rift’s escarpment , wild beasts and surrounding areas .
Acacia farm lodge consist of 28 spacious and beautiful pointed rooms that are built in traditional African style with local wood and modern comfort . Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers , mosquito nets, comfortable wooden beds with clean beddings, flat screen TVs, hair driers , private balconies, verandas and sitting areas ,you relax while enjoying the stunning view of the gardens , great rift’s escarpments and surrounding area . There are cracking bornfires and minibars at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors in the nights. Rooms are in different categories and sizes ; single ,double ,twin and triple/family rooms and rooms cost 300$ per night and above . Note that in High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season.

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to the Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering the total area of 8,292km and its 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. There are different attractions in the park which include; wild beast migration from Serengeti , Ngorongoro crater , Salei Plains and Ol karien Gorge, Variety flora and Fauna, stunning scenery and many more attractions. The park has different categories of accommodation like; Budget , Mid range and luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to guests visiting the area. The park contain short grasses with more high lands and other beautiful volcanoes. The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 number of lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles . The park has different animal including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos ,zebras , impalas , antelopes and different bird species . There are more different activities to do while in the Park which include ; Game viewing at crater and lake Eyasi view point to different animals migrating , Crater viewing , Cultural visits in the local village, Hiking the Gol Mountains in the remote areas of the park , Crater Rim Nature walks, Bird watching in the park, Visiting archaeological like oldivai gorge museum and many other activities . The Park gives stunning view of the Ngorongoro Crater since it’s the largest caldera in the world and the surrounding areas. There are more masaai mara pastoralists in Ngorongoro park . its 80$ per person entering Ngorongoro park . June –july and late January and February are the best month to travel in Tanzania for a safari especially Ngorongoro side.
