Amboseli Eco Camp
Amboseli Eco Camp is a budget accommodation (4 star) situated in southern Kenya, south east of Amboseli national park near Tanzania’s borders in loitokitoko district in Kenya country . The camp is outside amboseli park just few kilometers from the heart of masaai land . It takes 278km (4 hours) drive from Nairobi via Namanga. The park is big covering 3000 square km area in Kenya and across the borders of Tanzania. You can either be in the park by road or air transport which takes about 240km driving Nairobi -arusha road through Meshanani gate and 228Km on Nairobi -mombasa road and 45 minutes to fly from Nairobi to close airstrip amboseli . The camp is convenient and affordable to guests visiting the park with its breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro ( africa’s highest mountain ) and surrounding areas.
Amboseli eco camp consists of 8 spacious and comfortable rooms built in African traditional style with grass thatched roof and local wood . Rooms well decorated with en -suite facilities like flushing toilets , Mosquito nets , air conditioning , Flat screen TV’s , hot/cold separated running showers/bathtubs etc . Rooms have verandas, sitting areas and private balconies with a cozy atmosphere , you relax while overlooking the beautiful view of mount Kilimanjaro ,the park and animals visiting the lodge . The camp have excellent and comfortable rooms with clean and washed beddings. Rooms are in different categories and size; single ,double ,twins and triple rooms. The camp has fireplaces that provides warmth to guests during nights. Rooms cost 150$ and above per night. But prices differ in different season where in peak season the price goes slightly high.
