Bull bush river camp is a mid -range accommodation found along the banks of ntungwe River in the heart of Ishasha sector in southern queen Elizabeth national park(famous park with tree climbing lions) in Uganda. The camp is out the park in Kihihi close to Ishasha gaming tracks that gives tourist /travellers to spot tree climbing lions and beautiful views of the Riparian Forest Vegetation and Acacia savannah surrounding the camp. One can be at the camp by road taking approximately 5-6 hours (370km) drive from Kampala city to Queen Elizabeth national park then an hour flight from Entebbe international airport to close Kasese airstrip and few minutes to be transferred to the camp.


Bull bush River camp is consists of 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms that accommodate over 8 guests with local blend of natural materials with comfort. Cottages are well furnished and elevated to meet guest’s personal fondness with mosquito nets , bathroom with hot and cold showers , flushing toilets free toiletries , chairs and wooden tables ,free bottled water, free complimentary bottled water , slippers in the rooms . Each cottage has sitting areas, terraces and large veranda that give a panoramic view of the Ntungwe Riverine forest canopy and surrounding areas. The Lodge has excellent and comfortable beddings with king sized bed. There are campfire pit where fire glows, guests relax as they share stories/ experiences about the safari, it also provides warmth during cold periods. The camp offers Singles beds for individuals and double beds/ twins with different costs ranging from 150$ and above per night per person, during peak season it goes slightly high than in low season . Queen Elizabeth national park is the second largest and most visited national park found in western Uganda near historical town of Fort portal (Tourism city) in districts of Kasese, Kamwengye, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. The park occupies the total area of 987 km squared .The park extends from Lake George in the north-east to Lake Edward in the south-westand includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes. It’s the wide channel in Uganda with 32 kilometers long. There are different accommodations in Queen Elizabeth national park; budget ,mid range and luxury accommodations.

The park has the variety of flora and fauna over 100 mammals and 612 species of bird which attract more tourists.
