Faru Faru River Lodge
Faru Faru river lodge is a mid-range accommodation (3 star) found outside Serengeti national park in the private conservancy (ecosystem) overlooking water hole and river Grumeti in Tanzania The lodge is built on gentily sloping hill in the western corridor with in singiti reserves .One can reach the lodge by road or air transport to the close sasakwa airstrip where many flights land . It takes approximately 330km {6 hours } drive from Arusha town to the park and 2 hours to fly from Arusha to sasakwa airstrip then 22.4 miles to the lodge from the airstrip. The lodge is convenient and affordable to visitors with its infinity stunning view of the valley , wild beasts that migrate from Kenya to lake victoria due to drought , the Serengeti plains, and surrounding area as it gives a great and memorable experience .
Faru faru river lodge is comprised of 9(nine) elegant and spacious well designed rooms that reflects African traditional building style with grass, wood and stones . Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets , hot and cold showers, flat screen TV, minibars, mosquito nets and other facilities . Rooms have verandas, sitting area and balconies , you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of Serengeti plains, River grumeti and surrounding area. Rooms have excellent clean and washed beddings with king sized beds . They are in different categories and sizes ; single ,double ,twins and family rooms. The lodge have fireplaces that provides warmth to the guests during nights. lodge cost 200$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season
