Mara Fig Tree Camp is a Mid-range accommodation ( 3 star) found amidst Masai mara national park on the banks of Talek River. The camp is situated in a special spotting place for big five in Masai mara national park. It is near Talek river . it takes approximately four-five-hour drive from Nairobi to the park and an 50 minutes to fly from Nairobi to the closest ol kiombo airstrip. The camp is 10 minutes from the airstrip. The camp is built in near the sweeping bends of talek river. The camp is convenient and friendly to guests staying in masaai mara national park with its stunning view of the river ,wildlife and the park.
Mara Fig Tree camp is comprised of 70 well designed and pointed luxury tents that reflects local building style with grass thatched roof and modern comfort. Tents that are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers/Bathtubs , mosquito nets, satelites, Flat screen TVs , extinguishers, hair driers , private balconies and sitting areas ,you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of park, and Tarek River, wildlife and surrounding area . Rooms are equipped with comfortable clean bedding containing king and queen sized beds. There are campfires in the veranda that provides warmth to visitors staying at the camp . Rooms are in different categories; single ,double and triple rooms and rooms cost 200$ per night and above ( note that high season rate is different to low season rate.)

Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July ,August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
