Mountain Gorilla Nest Lodge is a mid-range accommodation (3-star) found in musanze district, Northern Rwanda in Rwanda country next Volcanoes national park. The lodge is situated in forest of Eucalyptus trees with the beautiful views of Rwanda’s hills and the park. One can either be at the lodge by road transport from Kigali international airport which takes approximately 2-3 hours to drive to the park and it takes 40 minutes to fly from Kigali to the hotel . The lodge is convenient and friendly to guests visiting northern part of Rwanda and volcanoes national park with its great views of the mountains and memorable experience.
Mountain gorilla nest lodge is comprised of 40 beautiful and elegant rooms that reflects African traditional building style with local stones and modern comfort . Rooms are well furnished and decorated with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets , hot and cold showers/ bathtubs , mosquito nets ,hair driers , flat screen TV’S, satellites , with private balconies , sitting areas , terraces, verandas , you relax while overlooking the spectacular views of virunga volcanoes and surrounding areas . Rooms have excellent facilities with clean and washed beddings , There are fire places at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors in the nights and coldness. Rooms vary in different sizes and categories ; singles , doubles ,twin , triple /family rooms . Rooms cost 200$ per person per night and above ,and rate always go high when its peak seasons.

Volcanoes national park is the largest and most visited national park found in the North western part of Rwanda country .The park occupies the total area of 505 square miles of rainforest and surrounded by five of volcanoes in virunga mountains namely ; Karisimbi , Bisoke , Muhabura , Gahinga and Sabinyo and there are two active volcanoes that covers 25 miles apart namely; Mauna loa and Kilavea. Apart from volcanoes national park , Rwanda has different parks include; Nyungwe and Akagera national park with different attractions. Though Rwanda is a small land locked, tourism is the fast and leading activity.
