Rweteera Safari Park (Lodge)
Rweteera Safari Park is a mid-range accommodation (3 star) found on the shores of lake Nyabikere at the entrance of Kibale national park in Uganda. The lodge is situated 18 KM along Kamwenge road, fort portal western part of Uganda . The lodge is 15 minutes drive from Chimpanzee tracking point and it is set in the perfect position for guests exploring the close four national parks that is, queen, kibale, Rwenzori and semiliki national parks. Rweteera safari park is convenient and affordable to budget guests with the breathtaking views of the lake Nyabikere and surrounding areas. You can be at the lodge by road transport from Kampala which takes approximately 4-5 hours drive and an hour to fly from Entebbe international airport to Kasese airport then few minutes (an hour)to be transferred to the lodge .
Rweteera safari park consists of 15 spacious and confortable round shaped chalets built in African traditional style with natural materials like local woods . Rooms are well elevated with raised wooden platform, comfortable beds that are wrapped with mosquito nets , cold and hot showers and bathtub. Rooms are well equipped with television, chairs, free toiletries, complementary bottled water in the rooms , wooden tables , sitting areas , terraces and wooden private balconies overlooking lake Nyabikere and surrounding areas. There are outdoor campfires at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. Rooms varies in different sizes; single, double, twin, triple with different costs ranging from 150$ and during peak season the rate always go high than low season.

Kibale national park is situated in the south of fort portal tourism city in Western uganda covering the total area of 766 square kilo metres . The park is basically the best destination for primate viewing and birding. It is the home of various chimpanzee over 1500 in kibale and in the whole world its about 5000 chimpanzees, with over 13 primate species , few mammals and over 300 species of birds which include; Sun birds , bee –eaters , sunbirds, Tawny Eagles , Grey headed kingfisher , Yellow-billed hornbill and many more birds.
