Saruni Samburu Lodge is a luxury accommodation (4 stars) found in Northern Kenya inside Kalama community wildlife conservancy bordering Samburu national reserve in Kenya country. The lodge is in the wilderness standing on 200,000 acres of landscape where you explore variety of animals . One can be at the lodge by road transport which takes approximately 5-6 hours drive from Nairobi to the park and air transport it takes an hour flying from Nairobi to the close kalama airstrip then 40 minutes drive from kalama airstrip to the lodge . Saruni Samburu lodgeconsists of 6 spacious and comfortable eco –chic villas which reflects the local building style with modern comfort , mosquito nets, flat screen TVS, satelites, hair driers , private wooden balconies and sitting areas ,you relax while enjoying the stunning view of the distant mount Kenya, kalama conservancy camp, water hole and surrounding areas. Tents are well decorated and furnished with facilities like flushing toilet, bathtub/shower with hot and cold running water. Tents are equipped with excellent and comfortable beddings with queen sized bed . There are fire places at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors during nights at the lodges. Rooms are in different categories; single ,double , twin and triple/ family tents and rooms cost 200$ per night and above ( note that high season rate is different to low season rate)

Samburu national park is among the less known parks and smallest park found in the northern part near Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya in Samburu country .The park occupies the total area of 165square kilometers and 345 km from Nairobi. Samburu country is found in the former rift valley of Kenya. The park is the home of various animals over 200 mammals like; Giraffes, Buffaloes , Elephants , Big cats, leopards, lions , zebras Warthogs , olive baboons etc and 390 species of birds which include; Sun birds , bee –eaters , sunbirds, Tawny Eagles , Grey headed kingfisher , Yellow-billed hornbill and many more birds.
