Sentrim Amboseli Lodge
Sentrim Amboseli Lodge is a mid-range accommodation found in the north west of Kenya inside Amboseli national park next to Kimana gate just 3 km. It takes 4 hours from Nairobi to Sentrim Amboseli lodge. Amboseli national park is found in Loitoktok district, Kajaido county in Kenya. It lies on the northwestern part of Mount Kilimanjaro which gives a spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro from Amboseli. The park is big covering 3000 square km area in Kenya and across the borders of Tanzania. You can access the park by road or air transport. It is 240km driving Nairobi – Arusha road through Meshanani gate and 228Km on Nairobi -Mombasa road.
Amboseli national park is famous for having many elephants. There are over 900 elephants in the park and other wildebeests which include; Buffaloes, zebras, lions, antelopes, giraffes, leopards, monkeys and many more. The lodge is inside the park, and there are more activities to do which include, game drive in the park where you will spot different animals, nature walks in the park, Hiking at mount Kilimanjaro, Hot air balloon rides, handcraft safaris, Flying safaris, cultural visits in the villages, Bird watching, traditional dances, see wild beast migration, and many more activities .
Sentrim Amboseli lodge consists of 60 luxurious and comfortable deluxe tents with a private view of Mount Kilimanjaro. All tents are self-contained with running hot showers and flushing toilets. Rooms have verandas and balconies you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding area. They have indoor and outdoor dining options. Some rooms have campfires that provide warmth to guests. Rooms at the lodge vary in different categories; single with one bed inside, double with a big king-sized bed, twin rooms with two beds inside and triple/family cottages with different rates. Rooms at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge cost 200$ per night and above.
