Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge
Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge is a mid-range accommodation (4-star) found in Ruhengeri,4 miles from musanze caves in Rwanda, a country next to Volcanoes national park. The lodge is situated northwest of Rwanda in virunga mountain areas.
One can either be at the hotel by road transport from Kigali international airport which takes approximately 2-3 hours to drive to the park, or it takes 40 minutes to fly from Kigali to the hotel . The lodge is convenient and friendly to guests visiting the northern part of Rwanda and volcanoes national park with its great views of the mountains and memorable experience.
Tiloreza volcanoes eco lodge is comprised of 14 beautiful and elegant sound proofed rooms that reflect African traditional building style with grass-thatched roofs and local stones with modern comfort.
Rooms are well furnished and decorated, featuring private en suite facilities such as flushing toilets, hot and cold showers or bathtubs, mosquito nets, hair dryers, flat-screen TVs, and satellite channels, along with private balconies, sitting areas, terraces, and verandas, where you can relax while overlooking the spectacular views of the Virunga volcanoes and surrounding areas. Rooms have excellent facilities with clean and washed beddings , There are fireplaces at the lodge that provides warmth to visitors in the nights and coldness.
Rooms vary in different sizes and categories ; singles , doubles, twins, and triple /family rooms. Rooms cost $250 per person per night and above ,and rate always go high when it’s peak season.

Volcanoes national park is the largest and most visited national park found in the northwestern part of the country of Rwanda. The park occupies the total area of 505 square miles of rainforest and surrounded by five of volcanoes in virunga mountains namely ; Karisimbi , Bisoke , Muhabura , Gahinga and Sabinyo and there are two active volcanoes that covers 25 miles apart namely; Mauna loa and Kilavea.
Apart from Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda has other parks, including Nyungwe and Akagera National Parks, each with different attractions. Though Rwanda is a small landlocked country, tourism is the fastest and leading activity.
The park offers different accommodations—budget, mid-range, and luxury—that are convenient and affordable for each tourist’s budget. The lodge was set particularly for tourists visiting the park.

The best time to Track gorillas in the volcanoes of Rwanda is in the rainy season from Feb to March, July, August, September, October and mid December . Gorilla permit in Rwanda is at $1500. Rwanda contains 3 tribes: Hutu, Tutsi and Twa all unique in their ways, prompting their safari visits while in Rwanda.
