Trackers safari lodge is considered to be a luxury accommodation found in Buhoma sector in the rural areas of  Bwindi  Impenetrable national park, south western  part of Uganda . The lodge is situated  in the perfect place for guests doing gorilla trekking and habituation since its close to the gorilla tracking point just 5 minutes’ walk  . One can be at the lodge by road transport from Kampala / Entebbe which takes about  9-10  hours’  drive while flying from Entebbe international Airport to the close Kihihi airstrip it take 2-3 hours then an hour and twenty  minutes’ drive  to be transferred to the lodge. The lodge is business friendly and affordable to guests with its beautiful views of the green lush, forest canopy and surrounding areas.

Trackers safari lodge is comprised of  20  elegant and luxury en  suite  cottages   that reflects  African traditional building style with grass thatched roofs and natural materials like local woods .Rooms are well decorated , elevated and furnished with  en suite private facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers , bathtubs, mosquito nets, flat screen TVs, hair driers, satellite, extinguishers and many more facilities .   Rooms have terraces and sitting areas and wooden balconies, you relax while Enjoying the stunning breathtaking view of the canopy forest and surrounding areas.  Rooms have excellent and clean Comfortable beddings with wooden floor and ceiling fan .  The lodge has  fire places  that provides warmth to the guests  during night,  Rooms varies in Different categories and sizes  ; single , double ,twin, triple and family cottages. Rooms cost 300$ and above per person per night, sometimes rate goes lightly high in peak season than i low season.

Bwindi Impenetrable national park is the best and  most visited national park in south western part of Uganda in Kanungu district. The park is the home of more endangered mountain gorillas  over  19 gorilla groups in the park. The park occupies the total area of 330.8 square kilo meters. There are  more than  600 mountain gorillas in Bwindi national park of which  19 gorilla families are habituated . The park consists of different 4 sectors namely;  Nkuringo sector,  Rushaga Sector , Buhoma sector and  Ruhijha sectors where gorilla trekking takes  place.  The lodge is found in  Buhoma  Sector which is the home of three gorilla families  namely;  Mabare , Hhabinyajha and rushegura . Rushegura is the old family in the park with Nineteen members and mabare was the first group to be habituated.  Ruhijha  can also be tracked while staying in Buhoma location .  Buhoma sector is the best and most visited sector with beautiful view of the forest canopy compared to other sectors thus making up Bwindi Impenetrable national park.  Gorilla permit in bwindi  is at 700$. There are more than seven hundred and eighty six (786 ) mountain gorillas in the whole world. Uganda hold close to half of their total population, and the majority of them live in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, whereas the others are found in Mgahinga national Park.  Bwindi Impenetrable national park has different accommodations in all sectors; Budget , Mid range and luxury accommodation . The  best place to visit  Bwindi impenetrable national park is  Feb, March ,  June, July , September, October  and December . There are many activities to do while in the park include;   Gorilla trekking experience, gorilla habituation experience, Batwa pigmies   trail , cultural experience (traditional dances), bird watching/birding since the park has over 150 bird species , nature  walks in the forest, community tours  in bwindi forest, Visiting lake  bunyonyi and lake mutanda , golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga national park  and many other activities.
