Where To Go For Chimpanzee Trekking In Uganda? However, the advantage of these fees is that they cover other expenses like; the park entry fees and the UWA guide fees and contribute towards the development of the neighboring communities around the park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Queen Elizabeth national park is one of the destinations where one can visit while on their chimpanzee trekking safari in Uganda because it harbours large numbers of chimpanzee species, which are easily, located with Kyambura Gorge. In addition, the chimpanzee trekking permit with Queen Elizabeth National park is charged at a fee of about 50 USD per person for the foreign non-residents and around 30,000 Ugx per person for the East African citizens.

Kalinzu Central forest reserve.

Kalinzu central forest reserve is located near Queen Elizabeth national park and it is commonly known that chimpanzee trekking with in this Kalinzu forest reserve is cheaper compared to the one in Queen Elizabeth. This is seen whereby the chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu forest is charged at a fee of about 30 USD per person.
