Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport – Hotel
Following your arrival at Entebbe airport, our company representative/safari guide will meet to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe where you will spend a night. Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – Bigodi nature walk and community tour
Depending on your location in Kampala/Entebbe, you will be met by our company representative/driver guide and start your 6 hours’ drive to Kibale forest national park in the western part of Uganda with stopovers to stretch and lunch depending on your location and time.
Connect to your lodge with en-route visit of the crater lakes near the park. Explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The reserve is abundant with butterflies, plants, animals and, in particular, birds. Spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and rare Papyrus Gonolek will be of great interest to birders. The swamp is also home to more elusive animals such as Red Colobus monkeys and sitatunga antelope. There is also the opportunity to visit local community projects that have been financed by tourism. Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking experience
Wake up early and drive to Kibale Forest to the briefing point before you head in the forest in search of the exuberant chimpanzees groups in the Kibale forest. Tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, is a thrilling experience. Though they can be difficult to spot, you will be in no doubt of their presence as the forest is alive with their noisy calls. Spend an hour in their presence. Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
After breakfast, check-in and embark on your journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park (home of Uganda Mountain Gorillas). It’s about 6-7 hours’ drive with en-route game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park Ishasha sector for chances of spotting the tree climbing lions and other animals. Day 5: Gorilla trekking experience and Batwa experience
Enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing by the ranger guides and later head into the forest for your trek. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. These primates roam the park freely and there is no way of telling where they will be for a particular day. On finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour to view and take photos of these gentle primates, enjoy your lunch packs and meet your driver / guide and transfer back to your lodge.
The time after trekking will be spent on a Batwa community tour, learn about the life style of the pygmies of Uganda who lived in the park before the park was gazette as a national park, return to the lodge for relaxation as you savoir the memories of your gorilla trek in Bwindi. Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe (8-9 hours’ drive)
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer back to Entebbe with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and spot at the Uganda Equator. Proceed to Entebbe and upon arrival, check-in at your booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Protea Entebbe Hotel for luxury/ Best Western Garden Hotel for mid-range/Cycad Lodge Guesthouse for budget
Note: To reduce on the driving distance, there is an option of taking a domestic flight from Bwindi to Entebbe.
Day 7: Fly to Masai Mara national park
After breakfast, check-out of the lodge and connect to Entebbe International Airport to check-in for your next flight to Masai Mara national reserve. Aerolink and Air Kenya provide domestic flights operate domestic flights from Entebbe directly to Masai Mara, departing at 11:45 am from Entebbe and arriving in Masai Mara at 14:30 Hours via Kisumu airport for entry clearance.
Upon arrival, meet your safari driver who will be waiting to receive you and transfer to you booked lodge with en-route game viewing. Upon arrival at the lodge, have late lunch and check-in your rooms to rest. Day 8: Full day game drive – Masai Mara plains
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and grab your packed lunch and meet your safari driver to head to the plains of Maasai Mara for a full day adventure in this stunning savanna vegetation of Masai Mara as you watch many animals in large numbers such as lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras and many more. You will enjoy your picnic lunch and proceed for a game drive until the sun goes down. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at lodge as above
Day 9: Another game drive and Masai Community tour
After breakfast, you will head back the plains of the reserve for yet another thrilling game drive to find any of the missed animals and enjoy more of the park’s scenery.
Later afternoon, you will head to the Maasai village/Masai Loita Hills for a cultural experience. On this experience you will enjoy getting a deeper insight into the Maasai culture by interacting with the local Maasai people, be entertained by local dancers, drama and Maasai warriors; buy local Maasai items such as local Maasai Shukas, beautifully made accessories such as necklaces and earrings and taste local cuisines. After the experience, you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight as above

Optional activity – Hot air balloon; A hot air balloon safari launches in the early morning, just in time for sunrise. For about an hour, you will be floating peacefully above the ground, with a bird’s eye view of the African bush below. The capacity for this activity is limited making this a very special and exclusive experience. Please note that this activity is weather dependent and may need to be rescheduled due to poor weather.
Day 10: Transfer to Nakuru national park – Crescent Island visit in Naivasha
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Nakuru national park. It’s about 5-6 hours’ drive with en-route stop at Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary – a peninsula or island on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. A short boat trip from the mainland out into Lake Naivasha gives you access to the unique Crescent Island Wildlife sanctuary, which hosts giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, and impalas. It is also a haven for more than 200 species of birds. The lake has a lot of hippos, which you can easily spot from the island. Among the resident birds are fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, black crakes, and a variety of herons.
Thereafter, have en-route lunch then proceed to Lake Nakuru national park. Lake Nakuru park is known for its large numbers of flamingo birds. In addition, home to the famous black and white rhinos. Day 11: Full day game viewing
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and connect for an early morning game drive to explore more of the park’s beauty. Day 12: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
After early morning breakfast, embark on your journey to Amboseli national park. It’s a full day drive connecting to Nairobi- Mombasa highway. The drive takes you through the open African expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribesmen and their cattle. Day 13: Full Day Amboseli national park
Have breakfast and explore Amboseli national park. This park is a home of the famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to the savannah elephants. Spend your morning and afternoon on game drives also visiting the swamp below observation hill that hosts many elephants, hippos and a variety of water fowls like Pelican and Egyptian goose.
