2 Day Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park and afternoon boat cruise
You will wake up very early and drive to Murchison falls national park as early as 6am. It’s a 5 hours drive through kafu-Masindi road the finally the park. Murchison falls is Uganda’s largest national park and a home to the big 4 game including elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards. Arrive early afternoon and connect to your for lunch.
Later afternoon you will go for the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls along the Nile where you will explore the exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, encounter animals like crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater and other animals like the elephants that come to drink from the Nile.
After observing the falls at the bottom, you will hike up to the top of the falls. This hike is a bit tuff but it’s fascinating as you will enjoy to see the falls at different points and finally when you reach at the top of the falls, you will be amazed and eventually forget about the tuff hike. After spending a good time at the top of the falls, you will be met by your driver to drive you back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari lodge/Fort Murchison lodge
Day 2: Morning game drive and return to Kampala / Departure
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive to the delta. The activity takes about 2-4 hours and is able to view variety of wildlife including savannah elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks and on a lucky day you will see the leopards.
After the game drive, you will connect to cross the ferry to drive back to Kampala and proceed to Entebbe airport to connect for your ongoing flight back home.
