Description of the safari
Day 1: Transfer for Murchison Falls National Park – Top of the falls visit and evening game drive
- Transfer for Murchison: First day of the 3 days Murchison falls safari , depending on your location in Kampala/entebbe, you will meet your driver guide and depart to connect to Murchison falls national park. It’s a 5 hours’ drive with en-route lunch , entering the Kichwabanyobo gate and connect to the top of the falls. Retreat from the top of the falls and cross to the northern bank of the park for an evening game drive before you connect to your lodge then later you will drive to the lodge check in for dinner and overnight at the lodge Paraa safari lodge(luxury) ,Pakuba safari lodge (mid range ) and heritage safari lodge(budget)

Day 2; Game drive and launch cruise
- Game drive: Second day of the 3 days Murchison falls tour after an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive. The activity takes approximately 3-5 hours depending on animals available, and you will find animals including; elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, leopards, and waterbucks.
- Launch cruise: After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and Later afternoon at 2 pm, go for a launch cruise on the along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. While on the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, and bee-eater. You will spend take viewing the falls at the bottom while taking pictures , After viewing the bottom of the falls, sail back to meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge with en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above;

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo – transfer back to Kampala
- Chimpanzee trekking: On the last day of the 3 days in Murchison falls national park, you will wake up early and have early morning breakfast and then you go for Chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Eco-tourism site in Budongo forest which is the biggest Mahogany forest in East Africa and home to about 80 habituated chimpanzees. You will arrive very early so that you can start the forest walk in search of the chimpanzees which will take 2-4 hours depending on their movement . Once finding them, you will stay for one hour with them watching them eat, rest and play. you will also enjoy the view and sound of birds. After the adventure, connect for lunch in Masindi town before you start on your journey to Kampala/Entebbe . You will be dropped off a place you will advise. This is a 4-5 hours’ drive to Kampala.
