6 Days Kenya & Tanzania Wildlife safari starts in Nairobi and then to the south western part of Kenya where you will visit the famous Masai Mara national reserve and also go to Serengeti national park and the Ngorongoro crater.
Masai Mara national reserve and Serengeti national park are both known for being locations for the great wildebeest migration which involves movement of over 2 million wildebeests across the savannah at different times of the year. During your 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will engage in morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve as you explore the destination and see its different attractions.
Serengeti national park is another wildlife viewing destination which you will visit during your 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari. This national park is the oldest in Tanzania and is popular among tourists who visit Tanzania from different parts of the world.
During your safari in Serengeti national park and in Ngorongoro crater, you will also engage in game drives as you look out for various wildlife species at the destinations like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos also referred to as the big 5. This 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari which started in Nairobi will end with drop off in Arusha, Tanzania.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: drive to Masai Mara national reserve
You will be met by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari. After you have been briefed, you will proceed to Masai Mara national Reserve in the south western part of Kenya. You will have a stop at the Great Rift Valley and also have a visit to Narok town where you will interact with the local community of the Masai people in Narok town.
After your experience in Narok town, you will proceed to Masai Mara national reserve and then check in at your lodge for lunch. You will also have an evening game drive where you will see a variety of wildlife species such as a large concentration of predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Mara lodge.
Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara national reserve
After an early breakfast at your lodge on the 2nd day of your 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will engage in a morning game drive in Masai Mara national reserve. You will enjoy seeing wildlife species like lions, zebras, leopards, elephants, giraffes and many more. After your game viewing experience, you will have lunch.
You will also go for another game drive in Masai Mara national reserve after lunch which will give you an opportunity to see even more wildlife species in the savannah of the reserve such as wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, buffalos, elephants, lions among others. You will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at AA Mara lodge.
Day 3; Transfer to Serengeti national park
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and check out ahead of your transfer to Serengeti national park in the northern part of Tanzania. After checking out of the lodge, you will have an en route game drive on your way to the Isebania border to cross to Tanzania. You will proceed for another wildlife viewing experience in the open plains of Serengeti national park.
Serengeti national park has a variety of wildlife species such as the big five which includes the lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants and rhinos as well as other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, waterbucks, hartebeests, antelopes, hippos, hyenas among others. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 4; Full day in Serengeti national park
On the 4th day of your 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to have a morning and afternoon game drive to see different wildlife species in Serengeti national park. During your morning game drive, you will explore the open savannah plains of the national park in search of wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants and buffalos. After your morning game drive in Serengeti national park, you will have lunch.
After lunch, you will have an evening game drive to search for wildlife species such as leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, elands, buffalos, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, among others as well as a variety of bird species such as eagles, vultures. You will return to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night at your lodge as you enjoy watching the sunset over the wilderness of the national park. You will have dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 5; transfer to Ngorongoro crater
After an early breakfast at the lodge your guide will drive you to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will proceed to your lodge where you will check in and have lunch as you prepare for more wildlife viewing experiences in the crater during your 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari.
You will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater to view wildlife which includes herds of wildebeest, eland, warthog, zebra, buffalo, hippo, and giant African elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and leopard. As you explore the crater, you will enjoy seeing attractions like Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the Ngorongoro crater. You will also enjoy seeing flamingos as well as other bird species at the lake. You will have dinner and overnight after your game drive at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 6; transfer to Arusha
After breakfast at your lodge on the last day of your 6 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will check out of the lodge and proceed to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at the airport which will bring your safari to an end.
