Lake Mburo National park is the near Masaka, it is located in the Eastern side of Mbarara town in the Western region of Uganda, and it is about 240 kilometers from Kampala city to access the park. Lake Mburo national park is considered to be among the smallest national parks in the country because it covers a total surface area of about 370 square kilometers and it stands at an elevated area of an altitude between 1,220 meters and 1828 meters above the sea level.
