Entrance fees of Murchison falls national park 2021 are the charges paid by tourists in order to access the park and participate in different activities. Murchison falls national park is the largest and one of the oldest national parks located in northwestern Uganda. The park is divided into two sectors by Victoria Nile the northern sector and the southern sector which harbor a wide range of attractions including vegetation types like savannah grassland, woodland and Riverine forest, animals like the big four mammals which are the elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, other animals like Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giraffes, hippos, bushbucks, primates like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, baboons, different bird species like the rare shoebill stork among others.
Murchison falls national park offers interesting activities such as game drives, boat cruise to the bottom of the falls and Nile delta, sport fishing, bird watching, guided nature walks, hot air balloon safari and chimpanzee trekking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest. Entrance fees of Murchison falls national park 2021 are charged by Uganda Wildlife Authority a government body that is in charge of tourism in Uganda and the fees are used to run projects in the park and its development.
Note: Entrance fees of Murchison falls national park 2021 are independent of package activities and all visitors will be required to present valid identification documents to confirm resident status. A day’s entrance ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time of entrance and extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be charged as an extra day. Children are persons aged between 5- 15 years and persons below 5 years are exempt.

A tour company driver is allowed to access the park freely as long as he/she is from a recognized tour company.

Ferry crossing prices are for scheduled crossing, one way for transit and they are valid till 7:00pm on the first day of use for those residents in the park. Vehicles in excess of 20 tonnes require special approval before crossing.
