Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
Ichumbi gorilla lodge is a mid range accommodation found in southern sector of Bwindi impenetrable national park in Kisoro district. The word Icumbi is from the local word Rufumbira meaning a cool comfortable home. This lodging facility is located within a distance of just 10 minutes walk to the Rushaga gate of Bwindi forest.
Ichumbi gorilla lodge consists of 9 self contained cottages and 4 standard rooms with comfortable rooms and bedding . All cottages are well furnished with local beautiful materials from the local community that are handmade. These rooms varies; single ,double/twin, and triple rooms. The cottages are set next to flower gardens and trees offering guests a serene and tranquility atmosphere while on their gorilla trekking trip in Uganda. The cottages have a balcony with outdoor sitting furniture where guests can sit and enjoy the stunning views of Bwindi forest, sunset and the surrounding nature. The balcony and the rooms are separated by glass doors that allow enough light to the cottages.
The lodge offers excellent services have a restaurant which serves all the type of meals both local and international meals to meet guests choice , the WIFI access available , laundry services, free parking space, business centers and other services

- The lodge has a main house sited on top of a hill and well stocked bar that offers guests both soft and hard drinks. Relax and order for a glass of wine and take in the views from the main house area.
