Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park – boat trip
- Transfer to Lake Mburo national park – boat trip: Depending on your arrival at Entebbe airport/depending on your location in Kampala, meet our company representative who will also be your safari guide to transfer to Lake Mburo national park. It’s about 5 hours’ road drive via Masaka – Mbarara road. Depending on your departure time, you will either have en-route lunch or at the lodge. Upon reaching the park after lunch, connect for a boat trip on the Lake Mburo. The lake is also good for sports fishing and bird watching. Return in the evening to prepare for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Walking safari/morning game drive and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
- Walking safari/morning game drive: Early morning after breakfast, head out for in search for the early risers on a good day you may spot the lions and the leopards are actually rarely seen and it will be by luck to find them. Do not forget to carry your camera in order to keep all your memories forever intact and also to ensure not to miss out a detail on your amazing game drive and find animals such as the Impalas, Zebras, Waterbucks, Oribi, buffaloes, Giraffes to mention a few. Alternatively go for a walking safari where you view wildlife on foot.
- Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: Drive out of the park and connect to Lake Bunyonyi. It’s about 4-5 hours’ road drive arriving late afternoon. Lake Bunyonyi is located in Kabale district close to Uganda-Rwanda border and it is the deepest lake in East Africa and Bilharzia free lake for human consumption in different activities like swimming. Upon reaching the lake with great views of rolling hills, connect to your accommodation, check-in for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Explore Lake Bunyonyi – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
- Explore Lake Bunyonyi – Transfer to Bwindi: After having breakfast, connect to explore the lake on a boat trip and visit some of the interesting islands. Bunyonyi comprises of 29 islands especially the punishment island and the lake is the best place of relaxation, have your lunch before you drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. It is about 2-3 hours’ drive with great views of the rolling hills and Virunga Mountains. On arrival at the park, connect to your lodge, check-in for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking experience
- Gorilla trekking experience: You will have the same morning preparations at the lodge, have breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your trekking gears and packed lunch, meet with other trekkers for briefing about gorilla trekking. After you are allocated a group in groups of 8 people, head into the forest for your trek. Gorilla trekking takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla family being visited. These primates roam the park freely and there is no way of telling where they will be for a particular. On finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour to view and take photos of these gentle primates before you descend back to meet your driver/guide and transfer back to your lodge. Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth: Continue on your safari to Queen Elizabeth national park after breakfast at your lodge. Check-out and proceed to the home of the tree climbing lions. It’s a 4-5 hours’ road drive through Ishasha sector for an opportunity to see the tree climbing lions. Have en-route lunch and evening game drive and see animals like the elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks to mention a few. Arrive in the evening and connect to your to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning game drive/Lion tracking and Boat cruise
- Morning game drive/Lion tracking: Wake up early, have breakfast and connect for a morning game drive in Kasenyw animals where you will find many of the park’s residents including the lions, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and other antelopes species, return to the lodge for lunch.
- Boat cruise: Later afternoon, connect for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. It’s a 2 hours’ boat trip with sights of different bird species, hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, and Buffaloes to mention a few. Return to you lodge for dinner and overnight at lodge as above
Day 7: Transfer to Kibale national park
- Transfer to Kibale national park: After breakfast, check-out of the lodge, visit some of the crater lakes in the park then connect to Kibale national park via Fort portal town for an early lunch break, this will take about 3 hours’ to drive. Proceed to Kibale national park which is Africa’s best primates’ destination with about 13 different primates’ species including the chimpanzees.
- Drive to the park headquarters with your trekking gears for an afternoon chimpanzee trekking experience. Meet with other trekkers and gather for a briefing from the park officials where you will be guided on the expectations of Chimpanzee trekking. Thereafter, in only a group of 12 people and ranger guides/researchers, set off for Chimpanzee trekking. The search may take 2-5 hours depending on their location. The chimpanzees in Kibale are quite easier to find and you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them on finding them. After trekking, meet your safari guide; connect to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
- Transfer to Murchison falls: After breakfast, embark on your journey to Murchison falls national park. Murchison is located in the northwestern part of Uganda taking about 7 hours’ drive via Papidi with en-route lunch in Hoima town. Proceed to enter the park via Kichwabanyobo gate, proceed to visit the top of the falls before you proceed to your booked accommodation. Check-in for dinner and overnight stay

Day 9: Morning game drive and Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
- Morning game drive: After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive. The activity takes about 3-5 hours depending on animals available, and you will find animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, Oribis and waterbucks.
- Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel: After the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later afternoon at 2 pm, go for a launch cruise on the along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater. You will spend take viewing the falls at the bottom while taking pictures then later return to meet your drive and connect back to your lodge and a relaxed evening. After viewing the bottom of the falls, sail back to meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge with en route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 10: Rhino tracking and transfer to Kampala/Entebbe – Departure
- Rhino tracking: You will enjoy morning breakfast, check-out, and connect to Ziwa rhino Sanctuary for your rhino trekking experience. The Sanctuary is located in the Nakasongola district taking about 2-3 hours’ drive from Murchison falls national park. Meet your ranger guides for briefing then drive to the starting point where you will start your trekking in search of the rhinos. You will be able to spot different rhinos, coming up close to them. Spend time in their presence for about an hour.
- transfer to Kampala/Entebbe: Have lunch then embark on your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe, your safari guide will drop you at allocation you advise or better still be dropped at Entebbe international airport of you have a flight.
