Parkside Safari Lodge is a mid-range accommodation (3 stars) found on the shores of Albert Nile, on the northern side of Murchison falls national park just 2 km from Tangi gate. The lodge is outside the park and its few minutes (5) to drive to the park . Parkside safari lodge is convenient and affordable while in the Perfect base that gives a breathtaking view of the albert Nile , wildlife visiting and surrounding areas to visitors . You can be at the lodge by road transport from Kampala via Masindi to the park which takes approximately 5 hours drive (305KM) while an hour to fly from Entebbe airport to close pakuba airstrip then 50 minutes to drive to the lodge.
Parkside safari lodge is comprised of 11 spacious and comfortable rooms reflecting African traditional building style of grass thatched roof and modern comfort . Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like ; Flushing toilets , hot and cold showers/bathtub , flat screen TV’s , satellite, solar energy available, chairs , tables , driers, mosquito nets and many more . Rooms have private wooden balconies, verandas and sitting areas ,you relax while overlooking the stunning and breathtaking views of albert Nile , Murchison falls park and surrounding area . Rooms are well equipped with comfortable clean and washed beddings with wooden ceiling fans. There are bonfires at the lodge that provides warmth during the cold nights to visitors. Rooms are in different categories; single ,double ,twin and triple/family rooms and rooms cost 200$ per night and above and in High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season.

Murchison falls national park is the largest, oldest and most visited park situated in the north eastern parts of Uganda in Amuru It was formally called Kabalega national park. The park stands on the shores of lake Albert home of scarce shoebills stork occupying the total area of 3,840Km squared .The park contains over 78 species of mammals including the Big five animals like; Rhinos, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, antelopes, Impalas, zebras and over 450 bird species like ; water birds, savannah birds, Albertline endemic birds etc. The park has different accommodations like; Budget , mid range and luxury accommodation that are convenient and friendly to guests visiting the park. There are different activities to do while in the park include; Game drive ,you spot different mammal species since the park has more animals, Boat cruise/Launch cruise along the Nile that gives the exciting panoramic view of the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls and enables guests to spot different aquatic animals like Hippos ,Crocodiles at the river banks , water birds etc , Hiking on the top of the falls, Hot air ballooning in the park , chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest , Bird watching /Birding since the park has many bird species , Nature and forest walks, community visits to the local villages that encourages cultural experience mention but a few.
